Audio

I am incredibly lucky to have found work I love. I am a story seeker and a radio maker and I still love it as much today as I did when I first recorded the sound of a cappuccino being made for a class assignment. I started my audio career at Marketplace in Los Angeles. I joined NPR’s Planet Money team in 2014 and in 2017, I helped launch The Indicator from Planet Money, a daily podcast covering business and economics. My reporting has taken me to rural India, down washboard roads in Oklahoma, to the oil fields of Kansas and into my broom closet, where I have been recording most of my broadcasts since the COVID pandemic closed down our office in 2020.
